First Batch

My friend Mike and me brewed our first batch of beer. We bought a Basic True Brew Kit from the only brew supply store in NYC, Hydroponics and Homebrew Too, in Queens. We used True Brew's Pale Kit as well. The brewing process was pretty easy. My apartment doesn't circulate air very well, so it was insanely hot by the end. The bottling process went smoothly, and after an additional week of bottle fermenting, the beer is drinkable. The beer is amazing, very smooth, and it has a very full texture I've never tasted before. Some of the things I think we need for next time is a good thermometer, a faster way to cool the wort, more sanitizer, and a better bottle brush.

Here are a couple of beer making guides. It looks pretty simple.
